The CliniShift Manager web portal, a part of our powerful healthcare staff scheduling software is fully integrated with the CliniShift App, facilitating real-time communication between managers and staff.
Managers can create, edit and publish schedules to healthcare staff members’ smartphones, fill open shifts, send broadcast messages, respond to time off requests, and generate reports for payroll. Healthcare managers will have full visibility of who is available for shift call-offs on a day-to-day basis.
- Schedule Builder
This innovative feature enables healthcare managers to edit, share and publish staff permanent roster hours from the CliniShift Manager Portal.
Managers can easily create, edit and share unpublished rosters with other managers in their team, replacing excel and other paper based schedules. Once published, staff can view their full roster from their smartphones helping them to better plan their work schedule and share their availability to work additional open shifts. This promotes effective forward planning, creates transparency around vacancies so managers can send targeted shift requests to available staff, reducing the number of missed shifts.
- Broadcasts
Staff can receive bulletins of information in real-time to their smartphone relating to quick changes in protocols as well as updates or changes to their shift details.
CliniShift also enables healthcare managers to send messages to the entire organisation or to a group of staff, depending on the information being communicated. They can include PDF documents which can be tracked to ensure staff have received, read and acknowledged the document.
- Shift Management
CliniShift enables managers to send direct open shift requests through our unique queuing system, or to a group of staff requiring managers approval.
This approvals process allows managers to ensure the appropriate staff member is matched with the open shift to be filled. Managers can also mark a shift as urgent to increase the chances that the shift gets filled. All shifts are tracked and traced making verified shifts easy to extract for weekly and monthly payroll and reports.
- Credentialling
CliniShift enables managers to oversee all relevant staff credentialling & mandatory CPD documents.
This allows managers to define the particular skills required to work a specific shift. Our credentialing tool also notifies managers and healthcare staff when a particular document is due to expire, providing warnings to staff on the app and omitting a candidate who’s records or qualifications are not up to date in the candidate selection page.

Staff can request time off through the CliniShift App which managers can approve, reject or edit.
As managers approve time-off they can simultaneously post an open shift request to available staff in order to fill that gap created by the approved time-off. All approved time-off will automatically sync to the CliniShift schedule avoiding the need to manually add the approved time-off to excel or another software.
